Sapphire Recruitment was established in 2004 and supplies both temporary and permanent members of staff to a wide variety of companies throughout the South West. We pride ourselves on our knowledge of, and reputation within, the local area. 

Sapphire Consultants have over 30 years experience in the recruitment industry meaning we have the knowledge and skills to deal with all aspects of Recruitment. We cover the Industrial, Commercial, Driving, Engineering, Hospitality and Care Sectors.

Sapphire Recruitment are corporate members of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC). The REC is the only body to set industry standards through its Code of Practice.

We are also De Poel registered and hold a current GLA licence which allows us to supply labour to sectors covered by the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004.

Finding temporary Staff:

We frequently speak to clients that have never used an agency before and they are totally unaware of how simple this whole process can be!

We recognise that speed is often of the essence when it comes to finding temporary staff. If you are in need of help, whether this be the odd day, a few weeks, on-going work, covering unexpected sickness, increases in workload or longer-term contracts to cover maternity leave then all you need to do is contact us. We operate a 24-hour telephone system so our consultants are available 7 days a week to help you with any staffing problems!

One of our consultants will take your booking, noting the job description in as much detail as possible, the hours, days required and the hourly pay rate; we will then search our extensive database to find you a suitable candidate with all the necessary skill and experience and call you back with the details.

All you have to do then is sign a timesheet for the appropriate candidate and our payroll team will take care of the rest for you! A weekly invoice is then sent to you – it really is that simple!

Permanent Staff:

Sapphire Recruitment can also assist you with finding high-quality permanent staff too!

Whatever you need, thanks to our ever-growing database and precise selection processes, we make it easy to find the best candidate for your job!

Before we begin searching for candidates, we take the time to get to know your company and its culture. We take a detailed job description, personal specification and salary details so we can begin searching our database for suitable applicants. We will also advertise your job on our website, our job boards, and in our window at no cost to you!

We evaluate and shortlist all the applicants and forward you the CVs we think are most suited to your needs. If you are interested in meeting with any of the candidates we will arrange all interviews and can liaise with successful/unsuccessful candidates on your behalf.

We will then discuss the agreed annual salary for the vacancy and calculate our charges as a percentage of that salary.

We operate a “No Placement, No fee” policy too.

As an independent recruitment agency we are able to be flexible with out pricing structures. This means we can tailor our prices to suit all budgets without compromising on the staff or level of service we provide.

Care Division

Sapphire Recruitments Care Division was established to meet the needs of care organisations in both the public and private sectors. We supply high quality staff to enable your organisation to provide high quality care!

We are registered to carry out Enhanced DBS Checks. We can also provide training packages for our candidates to enable them to develop the certification you require.

Driving Division:

Sapphire Recruitment’s dedicated Logistics Division understands that businesses depend on their ability to supply their goods, on-time, all over the world. In order to do this, you need experienced, reliable staff, available at short notice!

We are confident we can meet your logistics needs! We offer:

  • A 24-hour on-call consultant to respond to your staffing needs day or night!
  • Regular Monitoring of our candidates during placements to ensure their capability and suitability to the role
  • Drivers Negligence Insurance
  • Regular Licence and qualification checks on all of our drivers because safety is paramount!
  • Reference checks on all of our drivers (where possible) to ensure their competence and experience.

Engineering Division:

Our engineering division is managed by a fully-qualified engineer, with years of experience and extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering and manufacturing.

We understand that with the ever-changing, high-tech nature of engineering, it is vital to have experienced staff with the right qualifications to suit your business!

We also understand that flexibility in manufacturing environments is key and we can provide both permanent and temporary experienced staff at short-notice.

Industrial Division: 

At Sapphire Recruitment, our experienced Industrial Division is fully aware of the ever-changing and seasonal demands that businesses require and we know that adequate staffing levels are essential to ensuring your production lines don’t come to a halt!

We supply everything from Warehouse Workers and Factory Managers and conduct regular reviews with our clients to ensure we can cover emergencies such as sickness and holiday cover, sudden increases in work loads and special projects!

If you are short-staffed at the start of a shift don’t panic! We operate a 24-hour, on-call mobile system and can assist you any time of the day or night!

Hospitality Division:
