Setting the Standard

Our client is looking for an experienced receptionist to join their friendly team based in Taunton.

Overall job purpose: To provide a professional and helpful reception service to all visitors, clients and staff.
You will be required to:
  • Meet and greet everyone that enters the building in a professional, friendly and courteous manner, and advise the correct member of staff of their arrival
  • Take calls and operate the switchboard
  • Make and serve refreshments
  • Maintain up-to-date information on staff movements in and out the office
  • Provide administrative support
  • Ensuring all meeting rooms are kept clean, tidy and are stocked with stationary
  • Open and sort incoming post and ensure all outgoing post is ready for collection
  • Ensure all client records are correctly handled and then returned
  • Monitor parking
You must:
  • Have prior experience as a receptionist, ideally in an office or professional services environment
  • Be computer literate
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Have excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Be self-motivated and able to work well on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Pay high attention to detail
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Be highly presentable and able to remain calm under pressure
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week
