Tool Room - Skilled Machinist
Job Summary:
- To work within the Tool room department manufacturing tooling to drawing requirements.
- Able to contribute and work within a team environment in the Tool-room department.
- Able and willing to apply Lean tools and activities throughout Job function.
Key responsibilities:
- To operate a range of machines manufacturing tooling as specified by the job requirements.
- To operate machine’s safely and maintain good housekeeping throughout.
- Support internal and external customers in the Toolroom department.
- Maintaining good quality standards and delivery deadlines.
- Working as a team and applying company policies.
Experience required:
- Must have an engineering background (served/completed a relevant engineering apprenticeship / NVQ).
- Must have good knowledge and understanding in the use of all types of measuring equipment.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Must have good practical and technical skills
Qualification required:
- Must have served / completed a relevant engineering apprenticeship / NVQ , City & Guilds etc.
