Setting the Standard

Our client is seeking enthusiastic ATT Trainees to join their busy Taunton Office from July 2019.

Overall Job Purpose: To work in an establish Tax Department as a trainee, gaining experience to become a key member of the team, processing tax returns and providing a whole range tax compliance support whilst achieving your chosen training qualification.
You will be required to:
  • Process tax returns
  • Provide support to a range of clients to ensure they are tax compliant
  • Prepare tax computations
  • Prepare VAT returns and filing Companies House and HMRC documents on behalf of clients
You must:
  • Be computer literate, with knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Be able to work well from your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Have exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Have accurate typing and data entry skills
  • Be numerate
  • Be professional, highly presentable and hard-working
  • Be highly driven and enthusiastic
  • Pay high attention to detail
  • Have prior knowledge of tax, a general interest in business and accountancy
  • Ideally have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) mostly grades A* to B/9-5, including Maths and English and a minimum of 2 A-Levels grade A*- B. If you possess a degree, ideally you will have a 2:1 or above.
