Job Title: Customer Advisor
Overall Job Purpose: This is an advisory role providing a full and professional customer service support to the public delivering information on an issue of public concern.
Responsible to: Team leader
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Working in a customer service environment advising and resolving customer queries and issues face to face.
- To communicate effectively with members of the public and colleagues in a clear and concise manner, considering the particular circumstances.
- Provide information and helping people
- You will be working with a team leader on site
- You will need to report to your team leader at the end of the day

- Literate and numerate
- Excellent communication skills
- Fantastic customer service skills
- Ability to keep calm and work well under pressure
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
- Reliable with a flexible approach to work as no two days are the same
Qualifications and Certification
- Experience working within a customer service role including face to face customer service is essential
- Experience within a call centre / help desk environment
